Problems charging with Storm

Ok so I am having problems charging my storm. I know that the issue is with the connection at the phone between the charger and the phone. I know this because it charges when I tape the charger to the phone in a particular position. My question is, can I get this fixed? Can I take it to a tech and get the pluggy inny part or whatever the technical term is, fixed instead of buying a new phone? It seems like it should be a simple thing to fix.

This started happening to me in November. The phone finally got to where it would not charge at all. I was blamed for loading OS 5 from my home computer. Verizon gave me a refurb. It happened again last week. Got another refurb. Tech support says if it happens one more time, I get a new S2.

If you are under warranty call Verizon Wireless customer care and they will give you a replacement. RIM has poor quality control, so this is nothing new.

Mine lasted .. 9 months before going south. It always would take a charge off the computer tho... Vzw replaced it lickety split. Make sure to back up your device BEFORE the battery runs out tho and call them for a replacement!
