People Not Receiving Some Of My Text Msgs

For the past four months or so I have noticed that some of my friends randomly do not receive some of my text messages that I send them. The problem seems to be more common with my friends that have iphones but I also have a friend with a blackberry that sometimes doesn't get them. This is very random though and I'm not quite sure why this is going on. It is very irritating not knowing if people are truly receiving your texts or not. This has been happening mostly since I upgraded to OS 5.0. Has anyone else been experiencing this? Is this a Verizon issue, blackberry, or what? Thanks for any help.

Same thing is happening with my Bold after I updated to 5.0 OS. I seem to be seeing a correlation with Verizon users in particular. My friends are either getting my texts in super spaced and chopped sentences or not getting them at all. Has anyone figured out a solution?

I'M with Telus and I have the same problems. Some of the texts that I send to my GF Iphone are never delivered.

I don't think that there is solution for this. It's been like this for a least 1 year now.

This is more likely a result of the carrier itself. If your phone appears to be sending and receiving messages most of the time, just occasionally they do not get through, I would be leaning towards the carrier.

I have had this issue with one person, on a separate carrier, occasionally... but again most of the messages do get through. I have heard that some messages do not go through or sent because of memory limits being reached on a blackberry but I would not lean towards that at all.

Carrier issue, not your phone, is what I am going to say here. Hope this helps...

EDIT: I am not sure myself on the specs of the storm you have but it could very well be your phone is running low on memory as well. Might be something worth checking out...
