need to unlock this phone! Please help!

I just got a blackberry storm from a friend that she'd lost and just found again. She had replaced it with a storm 2 so she gave me this one. I want to use it for t-mobile and need to unlock it. Of course I can't call verizon (I've tried) because I don't actually have an account there. I don't really wanna put my information in one of those websites where you have to pay for an unlock code cause i don't really trust them and I don't know if they even really work.

Can anybody on here help me out?
