I think I've been sucked into the black hole...
..AKA the BlackBerry Storm series...
I was going to wait until Spring and see what potential Android devices might be coming to VZW, but VZW sweetened the deal on the S2 to the point where I think I'll jump on it to hold me over until LTE goes widespread.
Reasons:
1) My spare battery and chargers are compatible.
2) I don't have to buy all new apps.
3) World phone capability.
4) I don't want to wait...lol!
5) I'm a SurePress *****. I just hope I like the new version as well as the old!
6) Familiarity/comfort.
I also realized that my biggest beef with BB is the web browser and I can't make my decision based on that because honestly I just don't surf that much on the phone and I don't think a great browser would change that much. I just don't have time for that and I'd rather use my 22" monitor for web surfing anyway.
I don't play games on my phones. I have absolutely no interest in anything much more than simple puzzle games. So, the Storm 2 is more than I need...lol!
Thoughts? Should I rethink this? $130 is tempting and aside from a new Otter Box Commuter case it's about the only cost I'll have (and I can sell my unlocked S1 with a few goodies to cover a lot of that).
