Default Got a free 9530! Sweet!

Hi all,

Just got a new 9530 today! W00T!

My boss thought it was dead, went out and bought a Storm 2, and gave me this one and told me if I could repair it, I could have it. The screen wasn't clicking and after about 10 minutes of investigation, there were two screws that were loose. After I tightened them up, the screen clicked perfectly! I brought it in this morning and my boss said that was the best he had seen it click! I'm betting those screws had been loose for a while.

So now I have 9530... I'm debating on whether I want to get it connected or not. I'm thinking I want to give it a try as I'm planning on getting either a Storm 2 or 3, depending (I'm up for a new every 2 in April).

I'm pumped, though! Worst case scenario, I sell it and pay for some other stuff.

Brandon

Its a little bit beat up, but works perfectly fine, so I don't really care.

I'm pumped! If nothing else, these things are going for like $150 on eBay.

As of last night, I'm using a 9530.

I was using an 8330, though. BIG improvement! I have to say, I'm liking the Storm even better than I thought I would. Another week or two with it and I might just have to sell my 8330 to raise funds for other projects.

Come on, Storm 3! The sooner, the better!

I too came from 8330 bout month and half ago. I got lucky and traded my 8330 for this storm in mint condition. And I love it! I am eligible for a full upgrade in December so hopefully storm 3 is out or I'll just stick with my storm 1
