Default Cannot Connect to BB App World

Ever since i downloaded BB App world, i get an error message when it loads "Blackberry App World is having trouble connecting to the Blackberry App World Server. Verify your network connections and try again"

I can connect to everything else on the web just fine.

You can try deleting and reinstalling. To be honest you aren't missing anything.

On behalf of the moron above me...im sorry. Some people choose to offer absolutely no helpful information whatsoever when they have no idea what to do...I mean come on..."Try re-installing it. If that doesnt work your not missing much"?...GAY. Anyways, here whats going on. Either A) You have an unvalidated credit card attatched to the paypal account or B) You have changed devices and the paypal account doesnt recognize your new device. If A is your issue simply get on paypal.com and validate everything and make sure that you dont have an expired card as the funds. Even if your primary source of funds is listed as your bank account or debit card, you still have to have a back up which is the credit card and if its an old one, then your my world will be jacked up. If B is your problem just sit back and enjoy the ride. There isnt a whole lot you yourself can do about it that I am currently aware of. The only thing I know that you can do right now is head over to blackberry.com, go to support, and fill out the form for technical support.

Just copy and paste that in your browser and youll see what im talking about. What I would recommend doing is calling your service provider and telling them whats going on then ask that they pay for your blackberry customer service call. Unfortunately BB charges you a fee if you have to pay for it and if something is going on with your device, your service provider will more than likely take care of it. Im with Verizon and they took care of it for me. Either way, those are the only 2 issues and only 2 answers that I am aware of right now. Hope this helps. Oh and guy above me...how about being a little more helpful. Some people actually like the features of their phones and when your having an issue and can get something to work for you, the last thing you want is some dude saying "Your not missing that much". Obviously he is or he wouldnt be asking about it. Deuces.

Sorry this isn't really 'help'. I don't have a storm (BOLD) but am having the same exact problem as you, and there are several other posts of many others experiencing the same thing. Don't think there is anything we can do about it except wait for an update and hope that fixes it.

hi can anyone help, just got the bold and when ever i try opening the blackberry app world it keeps poping dat blackberry app world is having troble connecting to a blackberry app world server. verify yoyr network connections and try again

i used to have the prob..and my solution is to activate "BIS : blackberry internet service" trough telco agent..
