Windows 7 & DM5.0

I have a new computer with windows 7 and I loaded Desktop Manager 5.0 which was working on my old (XP) computer. The DM starts but the buttons do not respond as well it is missing the 'options' and 'help' tab on top. When I plug in my phone, a bubble comes up saying "windows is searching for a driver" then it loads the driver and the DM say 'connected' on top but it doesn't show the PIN number at the bottom. I've reloaded the DM as well as tried an older version. Any suggestions?

I am running windows 7 64bit and have DM5 running with no problem. I think it may be a problem with the installer for DM5. I got mine from HERE. I had to download with Internet Explorer as firefox gave me an error.
Also try running DM as an administrator by rightclicking the shortcut and selecting run as admin.

Thanks! I tried both the suggestions with no change. I am running windows 7 32bit, not 64. Anything else I can try?

i believe windows 7 was just released..so i think he has the new oem version.

Windows 7 Ultimate. I'm not sure what is 7600. How can I find out?

7 was supposed to be released on the 22nd I thought. You could try uninstalling and installing 4.7

I did uninstall 5.0 and installed 4.7 but to no avail.

I'm running Windows 7 x64 with DM 5.0 works perfectly!

Never thought x86 would have compatibility problems LOL Well anyway there is an option do install any program in Win / in "Compatibility mode"! Try it.
