Default White screen & Error 354
Verizon sent me a refurbished like-new replacement S1 today. As soon as I plug in my USB cable to the new phone to restore all my 3rd party apps and personal stuff, the phone goes into a constant reboot cycle. It displays a white screen with an ERROR 354, and then reboots.

Anyone got any suggestions? I have to return my old phone soon, but I do not want to be stuck with this new one that I can't hook up to my computer.

Will it boot up if not connected to PC? If so, try wiping everything out and then reloading the OS....

Windows Vista. My other Storm 1 works great. It boots fine when not connected to the PC. I took it to the VZW store, and they couldn't find anything wrong with it...
???

Ok... So I think I got it kinda working... I had to go through the Nuked BB tutorial... but when I got to the reload apps point, I had to reinsert the battery and continue hitting retry until it started loading the software. Now the software is loading, and we will see what happens after it is done...

I think it is working... now to figure out how to transfer all of my personal stuff (including 3rd party apps and theme) from the old phone to the new phone...

Ok... Used BBSAK to back-up all my apps and such... But when I try to Restore them to the new phone, nothing happens???

How are you trying to restore them? I have never done a third party app re-install with BBSAK, but I know it does something weird...check this out:

Your contacts and other files should be in your back up folder...

OK... all apps and contacts restored, as well as SMS... but now I have no browser and I get an error saying no data service available?!?

NM... ALL is well again in the BB Storm 1 world I live in...

BTW... I am running lyricidal's .794 hybrid now too...
