Default What OS Should I Be Using?

I have a Storm from Verizon and am just using the Official Updates but I read about the hybrids and betas and I am wondering which one I should be using? I need my camera to work I think I read on one of them that the camera doesn't work.

I tried doing a search but it's real confusing, also not sure I know how to install it.

I use 5.0.0.230 on my Storm and Tour and I love the OS. The camera works, it didnt on .19x series leaks.

Give the 5.0.0.230 a shot, there are plenty of hybrids too, but they can be confusing for beginners...

Default :-( Help please

I have an unlocked 9530 on Tmobile. I upgraded my OS to .167 and now I my message indicator shows phanthom messages and I can not delete them. I also had a heck of a time getting my tmobile email to work. I can not get my gmail account to work on my phone. I don't really want to downgrade to .148 and tried the .230 and the same problem. I hope I am not posting in the wrong thread, but I would really appreciate any help, because I LOVE my storm

I am confused as to how to do this, this will be my first time, I thought I saw on another thread that this has to be installed over a different leak.

Where can I find this and how do I do it, I am usually pretty good with computers but this stuff seems over my head.

If someone could point me in the right direction I'd like to do this today, just worried about messing something up because I've never messed with changing to os before.
