428 if you are staying with 5.0. Cleared up most issues with 419 and 328.

I thought .428 was a hybrid, not an official/leaked OS.

OP if you want to stay with whole OS's you can only go up to .419 from MTS and/or Bell. If you want to go the hybrid route, I believe you can find it at bbhybrids.net.

Edit: I just checked bbhybrids, and there is a .436 hybrid listed as well, so that gives you some options. Note that I have only used .419 and haven't tried either one of the hybrids, so it's going to based on the reviews.

Everybody has an opinion, which is best is up fo rdebate, and and endless one at that. I am using 5.0.0.419, but I am going to try the .451 Java files. Whatever you do, move up from the 4.7 versions, but there are those who swear by them too.

I've noticed these OS's can't take certain apps, or a lot,
Once you start to load apps, storms signal drops, browser gets sluggish,
I only have pandora, tether, bing. Works great.

I wonder if these hybrids cure the pressure.

Part of it is because of how big the OS is and how much free space you have. Free space will affect how your phone works. As for the storm signal dropping, I haven't had that happen when I install apps.

Yeah, I am one of those that swears by 4.7.0.167.

Forgetting all of the little bugs and small compromises associated with the 5.0 OS, I just can't get past the horrible threaded messaging and misc. way that the keyboard is and isn't there when you need it. Plus, a lot of my 3rd party apps (Quicktext, One Touch SMS) just work better on 4.7.

I guess the reason I like 167 is because I am a very heavy SMS user it is predictably solid for these needs - much more than any 5.0 OS, in my opinion.

419 all the way...every OS has some hiccups but this is your best bet.

    I am happy with .419, a lot better than .328 I think.
