Update for a Storm 9530

I have not updated my storm in a long time and was wondering if there is anything out there?
My latest os is 5.0.0.419
I saw there was a a new one put the link no longer works!
Sorry forgot to tell you all It is a Verison phone being use on the Rogers Network!

I tried to load the new os and the Desk Top Manager can't find it.
When I tried the loader that came with the update it did not load it ether?

Did you delete the vendor.xml file from your computer after you installed the device OS on the computer?

Here is what I did.
1st loaded BB Manager went into the add/remove and modify and put a X "this feature will not be available"
2nd backed up my Blackberry.
3rd went too Storm OS Discussion and went to the sticky latest OS then down loaded 5.0.0.1041.
4th plunged in my storm and opened BB Messenger let it open up i then went to app loader and the 5.0.0.1041 was not listed.
5th thing I tried was to load it from the OS that I down loaded and it did not work.

You need to install the device OS to your computer after you download it.
Then you need to search for and delete the vendor.xml file(s) from your computer.
Then you need to use the Application Loader to install/uninstall the applications.

I am sorry
I forgot to tell you that I had down loaded the OS to my computer!
Then deleted the vendor.xml file.
And opened the App Loaded and the file was not there.

OK I still don't have it loaded!

I did has you said and it does not show the update OS.
All It shows are the APP's I have on my BB.

Hi,

Even I am facing the same issue.. It only shows some of the old deleted apps but does not show any information regarding OS update..

I have tried deleting the vendor.xml file from the same location after installing OS on my windows XP Machine

BB 9530 Storm is the most troublesome handset i know from RIM. Must be used with a N/W which has the CDMA service enables. But i lv it's camera.
