Update 9500 to OS 5.0.. wrong language..

hi,

i am trying to update my "vintage" 9500
bought this phone in Hong Kong (its just a prepaid, no services) and it shows all info in chinese when i am updating the OS. The installation process i mean.

i downloaded the update here:

to update i am following the guidelines described here:

so, when opening the loader.exe its start in chinese.
Comparing with the english version i pretty much still can see what i am doing however on the end it says: (google translated) "Not required to perform the operation."

meaning it doesnt upgrade to v5.

another thing i noticed is that on this stage:



it doesn't show the options:

-BlackBerry 4.x System Software
-BlackBerry 4.x Core Applications

it only shows the apps i have installed.

If you're using a 9530, the 9500 OS won't work for your device.
