Default Trouble Uploading. .148 To Blackberry Storm

Ok. so i have downloaded the software and installed it. Then I open up my desktop manager and go into application loader and I go to the updates but .148 is not in there??? I tried to reinstall but it only gave me the option to repair or remove. I "repaired" and still didn't work. Help?!?!

Don't use Desktop Manager..

Try this:
Backup your device first. As always
My Computer>Local Disk C:>Program Files>Common Files>Research In Motion>AppLoader>Scroll down and delete the vendor file...all the way at the bottom. Then scroll back up and run the .exe app loader. Looks like a phone.

This should get you started..
Good Luck.

I had a problem until I stumbled upon this thread. Basically I ended up uninstalling DM and reinstalling it with updates turned off
