And I thought I was the only one, these phones are way to high maintenance.

I have the same issue with my phone randomly. If I leave it alone for a few minutes it will unlock and I can use it just fine. I notice it after it comes out of lock and it is completely random for me. Sometimes after charging the battery all night, sometimes after just taking it out of my pocket.

My fix is to just let it sit for a few minutes and it will unlock itself.

i had the same issue and its not a hardware or software problem. your screen is loose. buy a Torx T6 screwdriver and tighten up your screen a notch.

it's not a *click* problem, the screen will not highlight your choice before a confirmation *click*, and if you do *click* it just chooses the icon which is originally highlighted

I have also wiped and reinstalled my OS, and yet the problem persists

Yeah I have the same problem too - and it doesn't seem like anything in particular causes it. I just do a battery pull.

I have also had the issue of the screen registering input at random times since I went to .148. Phone was great before this. What bothers me is that sometimes a battery pull didn't even solve it. However, about a week ago I decided to see if it was theme related and switched to one of my premium themes and have so far not had the problem. It also seems the phone runs smoother, so I am actually wondering if there maybe a theme issue that jams everything up a little and causes this problem.... just a thought

Question Screen Issues

I have had the same issue since I upgraded to the new official Verizon OS (..148). I have the Innocase II with holster. I took my case off to do a battery pull, and noticed that the screen started to respond. If I leave the case off of the phone, it works fine. It is crazy how the case and OS can interact, but it seems to be the issue. I have emailed Seidio and awaiting a response. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Tip: if you can make your way to composing a message, the problem goes away. This does not happen with the keyboard up, so it can't be JUST humidity! It is related to a long time on lock and/or humidity.

Angry Screen Issues

This never happened until I upgraded the OS that Verizon pushed out. Mine does it all the time. I am sure it isn't humidity though. I do not doubt that humidity may cause some problems for some folks, but my does it all the time and no matter where I am. Inside, outside, AC, no-AC, night, and day. I will do a battery pull, turn it off and then on and it still does it. The Innocase makes it worse. Also, I found that if I hold it in landscape and squeeze the top and bottom parts (shinny part, not the black parts where the buttons are) it will stop completely. I just don't get how the OS caused this. It makes no sense.
