storm 9530 problem

i have storm 9530 its unlocked but keep switching between edge in small then in big letters EDGE but when i go try to load app world it goes back to edge small any way to make it stop doing that

I would sugest not trying to download anything while in a low signal area. You may need to try a different OS, as some were better than others at holding an EDGE signal. Fortunatly/Unfortunatly, my Storm is CDMA so I don't have that issue. A search of the forums should find more info on that subject
