Screen lockup/blackout

I recently upgraded the OS to the new chinese leak, and had problems with the screen on the storm locking up or blacking out completely. After a few battery pulls it worked fine. This happened several more times and i finally downgraded the OS again.

Now the screen still will lock up, images will be mixed up or blacks out completely. I wiped with Jl_cmder and reloaded with the same problems. I have tried everything but the phone still continues to lock up, freeze or blackout completely. And it does this 3 to 4 times a day. The only thing that fixes it is a complete battery pull that sometimes takes 4 or 5 in a row to work.

I have not heard of this problem before. I would suggest deleting all installed OS's from your computer (Control Panel) and then go to Program Files/Common files/Research in Motion/Shared and be sure nothing remains in this folder. If there are any files or folders, delete them.

Then reinstall the OS you want to use, besure you have a recent backup and reinstall the OS. Don't forget to delete the Vendor file.
