I did the latest VZW upgrade with no issues during upgrade.
Now I find that some of my contacts that had assigned ring tones no longer have the ringtones that I assigned. And when I go reassign the ringtones to that contact it does not stick. I save the ringtone etc. as I normally would to that contact. Go back into edit that contact and the ringtone did not stay assigned. Now what? I didn't lose the ringtones - they are still there to choose from but won't stay assigned.

I've had that same problem occasionally after upgrading. Try doing a battery pull or two. That usually fixed it for me.
