Default Reboots are back....

5.0.0.191 has been a problem for me.

The first three times it did this I thought I made a mistake installing it because I would have reboots every five to ten minutes. Then after what I thought was a successful install turns out wasn't because the reboots are back. I have gone through the wiping/fresh install process, have look at all the guides in the How to forum, have tried to use the .191 that had RIM's Internal Tools and the .191 without it from different downloading sites to make sure the file wasn't corrupted or something.

I thought it was a user error and maybe it is (i can be a noob sometimes) but I absolutely love .191 and really do not want to downgrade back to .151. Has anyone else experience this problem? If you did, how did you fix it?
Thanks in advance!!

Hmmm...I haven't had any except when I accidentally initiated the camera. If you don't know already, the camera/camcorder will automatically crash/reset the phone.

I have not had one reboot since I installed this. Are you running any themes or apps?

no themes and the only apps are the standard Blackberry specific ones

I already hid the camera button and change my right convenience key to messages.

How did you reload the OS? Did you use the Desktop manager or the Loader.exe method? Did you restore any of your information from a backup file?

In my backup there was:
Contacts
passwords
emails
sms/mms (just the important ones)
browser settings
bookmarks for the browser
Calender entries
phone call logs
and the regular system settings

is there anyway you can just wipe clean and reinstall your contacts manually and dont restore from a backup? It might be something in that backup causing problems. Did you have then on the other OS's before this?

Yes I did use the backup before on all the other OS's but I will start clean and just add the contacts and other settings in manually, hopefully it will work. Thanks Paul for your help I know its late. I will post if it works.

Ya, that's the only idea I can come up with either man. Try just installing it, and then without restoring anything at all ... play with it for a while. Use it. Browse the web. Anything which caused problems in the past, and see if it works. If so ... then you know its something in that back up.

Then ... you can start restoring parts of that backup using the "Advanced" feature on DM and part by part figure out which one is causing issues.
