Problems using a Verizon Storm 9530 on AT&T
Ok, I am new to this whole "Unlocked Phone" arena so please bear with me. I have the phone working somewhat. I had to call AT&T to get them to set me up on the Blackberry Internet Service so I could get my email accounts set up. I could make and receive calls & send and receive text messages right away. The problems I am having are as follows:
1. I have no way to browse the internet. in fact, their appears to be no browser at all installed on the phone. I also have no access to AppWorld to even try to download another browser.
2. I am receiving my emails from all accounts and I can reply to them, but if I just write an email message, when I click the option key, there is no option to send.
Finally, and I know this is probably a stretch, is there any way to get rid of all of the verizon branding in the software?
I hope some of you more experienced crackberry'ers can help a novice out!!
You should know that I have read the thread {BlackBerry 101: How To Effectively Run Your Unlocked Storm (all features enabled) on North American GSM Carriers } but I run into a problem when I get to the part { C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\{Your OS Here}\Java. Locate the module net_rim_bb_browser_daemon } I can not find this file on my PC anywhere.
