I have had every os there has been, I have had the most luck with .76

I have had the fewest bugs, fewest battery pulls and the least amount of white screens. In my opinion .76 has been the best os for me and my storm.
I did also do a wipe between each os. Has anyone had betterluck than me?

.85 was by far the best. I just upgraded to .86 we'll see how this one goes.

i second .76 ive been running it for over a week with one battery pull. it runs as fast as .85 did on my device and i cant say anything wrong about it. im waiting on the official update before i upgrade.

I had .85, but had the device replaced, so I'm currently on .75. I ended up encountering several of the common bugs with .85 prior to replacement (hardware issue). Anyway, I'd say to date, .83 was my most trouble free.

I'm debating what to do with the .86 leak, I think I'm going to see what Verizon pushes out first, then pick up the fun stuff after that.

I ran .85 with no minimal benefits and maximum failures and headaches. .86 for NOW is proving to be the best OS i have used so far, but we will let time see. Im interested to see what version verizon releases. Also I would like to see the fading screen as an option for the soccer moms so I can turn it off.

Received my Storm on December 15th, running .75. Uprgraded to .83 when it came out and immediately liked it because of the revision to the manual lock. I put my storm in my front pocket and I had an issue with the sound profile changing over to vibrate when in my pocket which .83 seemed to have fixed. I then upgrade to .85 and started having the verizon logo freeze issue and memory card issue. Switched back down to .83 and have not had any real issues since then. Getting 2+ days on battery life (though I do shut the phone off at night) and no real lockups. I am interested to see how .86 works out.

I had the most luck with .75, I see a lot of threads with .85 & .86 having a lot of issues so I never updated to them.

.75 has been the best for me. I had upgraded to .83, but went back to .75 after various issues. I figure I'll give .86 a whirl today and see how it goes. The early posts about it seem to be promising, so I'm interested to see how it works out.

Of .65, .75, .76, .83, and .85 - - .76 OFFICIAL was best. Sorry caps. I haven't installed .86 yet. Still it takes at least a week generally for all the bugs to start leaking out. So give it time. If there are not allot of complaints - my guess is the next official update that fixes the serious typing lag, BT stereo, camera lag and audio boost issues will be my fave.

So, just checking back in. My phone is working as expected. I have not had 1 glitch with .86 so far. I notice the camera is slightly faster. The transition out of applications is faster. Someone mentioned that the exiting of unlock was faster, I do not see it as a noticeable upgrade from the last version. So far, no battery pulls (I would have pulled 4 times with .85 already)

.85 to date was the best OS out. I have just loaded .86 and I like what I see but it has only been on for the day. All is great so far but time will tell.

Upgraded to .83 a few weeks ago but had too many issues. Downgraded to .75 last week and am okay with it until I hear good things about .86 or an official release from VZW.

.85 was the best, just got .86 so more updates later on. Too early to tell right now.

.86 is, so far, looking like it may be the real deal, but one can't know that for sure until I get more time to test it out.

It may, in my opinion, be the first OS to truly surpass .75 in all the important areas, the most important of all being stability.

Of course, I require more time with it, but it's looking good.
