Exclamation OS Leak!!! 9530 5.0.0.871

All Credit for this goes to ToddL and Starmburst1 for continuing to troll Chinese sites and for DL'ing this and then posting to megaupload.

MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

So far no one has installed yet, but a few of us have installed it to PC. Virus scans are clear and install looks normal.

See this thread for more: http://forums.crackberry.com/f132/an...88/index2.html

Please install at your own risk...blah, blah, blah. If you are still rocking a 9530 you know the drill.

Have at it and post some good findings and not "Downloading now"

Thanks again to ToddL and Starmburst1 and the rest that dug this one out.

Just to clarify...I wiped my phone before doing this...so no apps right now...

Everything seems good so far...obviously can't say about the battery...but yes it does work properly (at least for me)

This file isn't signed, which is the same as the other BS .797 build that was a crap.

Loaded this OS without a wipe over straight 797...everything looks OK for now. Noticed that the speaker output is considerably higher than 797. Hopefully, the bluetooth volume will also be higher...797 was too quiet for me.

I also have had good luck with a 797 hybrid, but loaded 871 tonight and it seems to be working well for my uses. It did seem to load with slightly less memory, 30MB instead of 34MB. I will need to look closely at my apps reinstalled to be sure I have not included something previously excluded.

I initially tried to make my own hybrid for 871, but must have missed something and bricked it, so I had to start over, that is why I may have included a different app. I pulled apps from several different backups.

More later.
