i am trying to swap the radio. I have down loaded the "swap-a-radio" and I choose browse>c:/program files>common files>RIM>Shared>loader files then i click on the .90 radio code i get a green progress bar then a dialogue box that says unhandled exception has occurred on your application. if you click continue the application will ignore the error and attempt to continue. If you click quit the application will close immediately . access path denied to c:\program files\common files\RIM\apploader\vendor.xml what am i doing wrong? can anyone help a noob, but trying to climb the mountain to achieve addiction...thanks

Just DL OS .90 and install on your comp and copy .90 radio file. So that way you now have .90 radio file on your computer. No need any program to do a swap radio for you.. Just copy and paste.

Hello Newbie here-
I was wondering if here are step by step instructions on how to swap the radio. I am chomping at the bit to upgrade from .141 but would like the .90 radio since I am on ATT and it seems to have the best review. Can someone send me in the right direction?

Not understanding what you guys mean by "color"
I'm sorry but I don't see any difference with color between the radios. I have .90 now with the .148 OS. I was having a problem with my radio signal at home running .148 alone and then I saw this thread about .90 radio. Added the .90 radio and no change in my bars moving back and forth at home but at work my signal is 5 bars constantly, even on the elevator. So it just must be my house then. Maybe I should go back to the .148 radio then, huh?
