I DO NOT recommend using them, but if you can't get away from those 6.0 files, here's a handful you may add as you choose. has anything from .31 to .100 and in between.

Just wanted to thanks for taking the time to make the .591 version before leaving for vacation. Works great so far on my phone. Shows .732 in the about screen though. .862 files on the phone though so must be right.

I got the same, .732 in the about screen so I thought I screwed it up but viewing the files shows mostly .862. This is my first OOAKDPC hybrid, will post w/results later!

Does this fix the muting issue on the 685?, I know the 832 does not, but 832 does fix the camera issue...

I made a new post to bring this back to the top, but this does not fix the mute problem on 685, I have noticed that now it only happens after I miss a call...

Meh, it's a Storm hybrid. I appreciate the efforts getting out a new one so quickly

But I'm beginning to feel the limitations of the BB OS are insurmountable. Every new hybrid might be a fraction better but you're always going to have the crappy browser and poor memory management.

Agree. But, this one is working well for me and is stable. I'm on 591. This will probably be my last one until a new phone comes that I like. I don't understand why RIM and Verizon put so many customers in the same position I'm in. My 2 yr contract expired a month ago. I'm more than ready to get a new contract and new phone. BUT... RIM has nothing to offer currently and has left me and many in the meat market ready to get picked up by any new flashy phone (aka Droid X).

I enjoy coming to the forums and loading hybrids and maximizing the potential of my phone (Not an otpion with the brickable Droid X).

RIM, you had me locked down... right now... you got me looking around. Verizon... you got me looking around too.

Loaded up the version with the .591 base, and it seems pretty good so far. Much better than what I had on here before. Memory sits at about 25mb, and so far it seems pretty snappy.

No bugs on the .591 base that I've seen yet.

I just wanted to thank you for this hybrid. It is by far the best I've used so far. I appreciate your hard work, and it's changed my life as I use this phone often and I'm not stressed out because something is giving me problems lol. My life thanks you.

ok i went from .685 hybrids to .797 org and i been maving major memory problems with .797 and bugs so i opted to go back to .591 with a decent hybrid and i hope this one is as good as it sounds right now

if it doesnt have major memory leak and or camera problems and keypad issues then i am happy
