Yes, it does. Although, hopefully people with 9500's are out having fun on a Saturday night.

Mine didnt take long to download at all.

I'm going to attempt to put it on my phone very soon, just waiting for a housemate to come home. It's my first time updating so wish me luck!

the same steps u did for 106 hybrid but do it for 109. but leave 106 out of it....

1. Download 9530 4.7.0.103 and install it
2. Download 9500 4.7.0.109 and install it
3. Go to C:\program files\common files\research in motion\shared\loader files
Your program files might be C:\Program Files X86 if you are running a 64-bit windows installation. If you do not know what I am talking about here, just ignore this line.
4. Go into the 103 directory and then go into Java
5. Select all of these files and COPY them
6. Go back one directory (so your into the 103 directory) and create a new folder called Java103.
7. Paste these files into this directory. It serves as your backup 103
8. Now go back into the loader files directory so you can now go into 109
9. Now that your in 109, go into the Java folder and copy everything.
10. Go back into 103/Java and paste. Confirm that you should overwrite everything. Some of the old CDMA files will remain there.
11. Then uninstall .109 from the control panel.
12. Now use the AppLoader located at "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader\Loader.exe"
It will be loading .109 files. You can confirm this by checking on the core files details. It should also say update.
13. Wait and you will be done with the greatest OS yet!

There are more 9530's responding right now since all the 9500's are either in the city or asleep. Its about 0.30 in the netherlands right now, midnight, saturday night. They'll be here soon enough ;-) After the headache has subsided.

Could anyone please upload to another mirror like mega upload when you have downloaded it please? I'm not able to download from the mirror its currently on for some reason.

English will be in there most likely. I did want to start a topic today stating: we;re really overdue for a leak But that's not necessary I guess

I'm beat... (computer guy) first gets stuck in traffic, no response from car whatsoever, luckily near a garage of a friend of mine, started pushing the car alone through traffic, cop came up and instead of b*tching he actually helped me getting the car to the carage for that mile it had to be pushed Then I changed the clutch assembly, brakes all around, drive shafts, etc. This is all no easy job for me so I'm really really beat and very very glad there is something nerdy to get back to tomorrow really looking forward to a good sh*t, shave, shower and a good nights sleep! Usually I stay up untill 2, 3 or 4 in the morning untill the new beta is on the phone and working, restore completed etc. Not today

You guys and gals over there, I really hope you get your 9530 leak soon, or at least a good working hybrid again.

Good night/day, and keep up the good work!!
