Just updated to .99...

All I have to say is that it runs perfect and is much better than .90!!!

Best OS yet!

All I really want fixed with this one is an issue I was having with the number pad in Phone.. I'd get one with random symbols, letters, numbers, and characters that was of no use when i needed to check my voicemail.
That had to do with the full qwerty in portrait. If suretype was enabled you wouldn't have had those symbols. Took me a bit to figure that one out. Freaked me out the first time I saw it. Hopefully its fixed. I'll find out in a bit.

This OS seems a bit slower than .90 to me. Anyone else feel that way? I did two batt pulls. I'm not saying it's slow, just not as snappy as .90 was...at least on my phone.

Obviously it will take awhile to find any problems with how it works, but I did have a snag while loading it. This was the first OS I've loaded that had an error after loading in regards to settings and things. I had to load my settings and data separately after the OS install. Weird. Everything seems to be there now though.

my storm is definately a little slower than .90 without a doubt.. im trying to pull the baterry again n see if it helps

Yup, the restore did the trick.

After that.. well, I agree with the main points that have been brought forth so far. Really.. nothing at all exciting in my opinion. No significant speed boost. I'll give it a few days and see if some of the issues I was having before have subsided.

.90 vs .99 initial impressions

- Camera fixed
- Keyboard font back to smaller font again
- More stable, has not crashed/rebooted yet even though I'm trying to crash it by loading as many apps as I can in the background, but...
- It's slowww again, especially when several 3rd party apps are in the background
- I hate the transitions, it's back and it's slow
- IM keyboard bug still there
- Did I mention it's slow? I'm getting the hourglass/clock a lot, and just general sluggishness overall.

So far, not so good. Hopefully it will settle in a bit over the next several hours, and remain stable. Will update tomorrow. Enjoy the new OS, folks.

1. full screen landscape keyboard font is smaller then in 90 (Which I liked a lot)
2. There is fading effect present when you lunch application but not when you trying to go between windows
3. Pictures from library loaded faster
4. Camera takes pictures and saves them (not like in 0.90)
5. There is fix in russian keyboard - letter "Ю" is now present on full screen landscape mode.
6. 25 Min running - no random reboots keep testing it.

You guys rock!!
I second that...I honestly think that I would have returned my Storm for another device had it not been for the progress in these leaks....

Thanks !!!
