OK so i've been running .90 for a couple days now and for the most part its decent. Despite a few random resets and a few lockups it's a lil better than .75. I managed to get a video up on youtube, take a look if you will. YouTube - BlackBerry Storm 9530 running leaked beta OS (.90)

I would love to know why so many of us loading the same beta release are having such a wide variety of problems. As I said before, the camera was the quickest I've seen it under .90 but the backlight stayed on way too frequently and it's not like the reboot is a couple seconds either. Otherwise, I might have left .90 on. So I had to go back to .85 which was the most stable for me. I also got the media card message. I wonder if the apps that we all have (which are pretty much different for everybody) affect the beta releases. It can't be all memory leaks because I have had zero problems with memory leaks. Even with TalkLoc I didn't have any. Back at .85 and all is fine, for now.

Those of you looking to save some application memory you may want to try deleting some texts. I had texts for like the last 2 weeks (I text A LOT) and I just deleted them and it freed up 8 MB.

I was getting a random back light and decided to test this very theory by removing my least used third party apps. I started with Weatherbug which is cool but seldom used for me. Maybe on these OS leak discussions we can list all the third party apps we are running. We may be able to see a pattern based off of the apps listed. Someone for instance using My Space may see more freezes etc.
Opera Mini
My Space
You Tube
Quick Pull
Visual Voicemail
Tiltris
Capture IT
Crackberry
Mobile Banking
Mobipocket reader
My Space
Weatherbug (Deleted)
P.S. Have not had the backlight come on or stay on since Weatherbug removed. May just be a fluke.

People do all the time. There are a couple different ways of doing it. You can do a wipe and reinstall from scratch OR you can remove the newer OS from your computer and connect to DM and when it sees you are running a newer version than it knows about it will ask if you want to downgrade.

Ive even gone as far as to "turn my internet off" even though that shouldnt matter, and got NOTHING. WTF?? Does anyone know what the h.e.l.l. the problem is? Is it me?
