QuickLaunch will create shortcuts to most any application or function on your BlackBerry with ease and style. The menu can be displayed on top of virtually any screen so there is no more backing out out a program and navigating through folders to find icons. Quick easy access to what you want to do wherever you are!

There is a possibility of that, however, if the program uses/manipulates the code in the .COD it could have a problem. I don't even know if an OS would install with that kind of .COD missing.

Browser Speed is unbelievable! The Storm is really beginning to come into its own. The User Interface is noticeably much quicker. Very impressive speed boost.

I'll go ahead and say it right now. We are probably in for a serious treat when we reach the .18x line and higher of leaks. Heck we may even potentially be blown away by versions slighter newer than .141 as well like .146. I wonder what Verizon has up their sleeves. Perhaps they've gone and requested the absolute last in the 4.7 line? That would be pretty cool.

The lock issue isn't really a problem for me since I use a password anyway. Have been putting a password on it ever since a relative just picked up my Storm and started clicking on stuff that interested them. Felt so violated

Super impressed with this os!

Memory started at boot with 56.6mb!
Boot time was under 2 min
Os is super snappy, it seems like the unlock thing is the only issue here
no other bugs! WOO

Hm. For some reason the Setup Wizard won't completely close out of my "Switch Applications" bar. It just kinda half freezes than bounces back to the Home Page. It was also BB Key -> Close when started.

Fixed.
I actually had to go through some of it and learn how to type on my BB again. How... informative?

I usually let an OS settle for a few days, so right now I will only give first impressions:

SPEED was the first thing I noticed--AWESOME

The QuickLaunch flicker, ouch hurts my eyes--BOO

Lock/unlock bug tolerable....
Had a bit of an issue to stabilize signal...phone failed *228 a couple times, but once got it to work, it been ok.

Got PRL (*228) on first try. Won't really see a difference, I literally have tower a few blocks away.

For all you guys having issues with the unlock button (like me), you should have PatternLock.

40.3 MB of memory; quite a leap from the 20's and 30's before

After installing .141, it didn't transfer: any contacts, bbm, contacts, and browser bookmarks. Did a back up before. Comfortable with installing OS's but not that much of a power user overall.

Was able to get contacts but it was from an older back up, any ideas why? did a back up just before the installing. Bookmarks are no where to be found. If you have any insight please pm, as to I usually unsubscribe from threads.

After the third battery pull, it took 7 min 16 sec to boot

When I use shrink-os it says that quicklaunch is fixed but it still flickers. All I'm doing is checking the box under browse and hitting fix QL. What am I doing wrong? First time with the shrink-os.
