Default The newbie question asked 1 billion times over...

I've searched and found this awesome thread that serves me perfectly well.
CrackBurglar's Custom Storm OS load - BlackBerry Forums at CrackBerry.com

And all in all is makes sense and is straight forward enough, my only question is to find and install the ultimate OS/Hybrid what link do I follow for download.
I like the sound of the 5.0.0.238/287 Hybrid, but I'm a little confused as too the files needed to put it together.

thanks for any help.

J.

Thanks for the thoughts. I have gotten away from giving "remote support" help (over the holidays) and am getting back into the swing of things.

My best suggestion is to load the latest official release of .419 MTS Mobility, and then load either OOAKPC or LYRICIDAL's .436 hybrid over top, followed by a shrink-a-os. At this time it's the latest and greatest. I lean towards Lyricidal's work, as I'm familiar with it, and also know what kind of effort he and the rest of the bbhybrids.net folks put into it.

I'd like to get away from giving support to folks "because they're scared" to mess it up, instead focusing on difficult cases that would challenge me to learn something more.

Don't be afraid to try it. Worst thing that could happen is an error 507, right?
That's easily resolved!

Give it a shot and let us know!

Oh don't get me wrong I'm not scared of tweaking my phone, I find it just takes time to learn the lingo and sometimes the how to guides contain a bit of a different lingo. I'm going to give it a try and see what happens.

That is a great attitude. The best way to learn is to try. If you have any problems post back and someone will help or provide advice.

Well this is like a totally different phone phone now.
Why did I wait so long?!
I do notice none of the games loaded though.
I don't use them much but Tetris is a great time killer.
