newbie needs little help

ok sorry if this is posted somewhere else but could not find it. I am trying to update os to .151- down load it okay, went and deleted vendor.xml file, then went into bb manger, the new version show up but when i try to update it tells me my device does not need updating. I have tried to redownlod the newer version and repeated all steps but same thing. what am I doing wrong??

use apploader - c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader\loader.exe

just use DM to create a backup file BEFORE you try and update

thanks trying that now- seems to be working based on the length of time it is taking ( i hope)

no problem...anytime youre loading an OS dont go through DM always use apploader

just remember the backups...very important
