New to storms, noob question!

I was given a 9530 and for some reason the screen responds to my touch but the surepress and the soft keys are unresponsive. I have wiped and loaded .591 and have done numerous battery pulls


I'm not sure if this is an old issue or if there is a fix that involves some home innovation or a replacement/disassembly.

I would greatly appreciate any and all help here; thank you guys in advance!
