Default New Storm, .132 or .141 stuck in headset mode (.75 okay)

I just my replacement Storm from Asurion yesterday and it came preloaded with .75. Everything worked okay, but the keyboard was a little slow. I upgraded it to .141 and the phone was stuck in headset mode. I tried plugging/unplugging the RIM headphones, using a q-tip, a pen, and a screwdriver, but I could not get it unstuck. I wiped and installed .132, same thing. When I wiped and went back to .75 the phone worked normally. Any suggestions? My old storm never had any problems

That's so funny, because when I google it, the top 2 results are from THIS forum!!!!

Another sugggestion - Use the search function. There are more than 2 threads on this subject. Even search for "q-tip".

    1) try a battery pull
    2) keep sticking in and pulling out the headphone jack. This happened to me, and after playing with it for awhile, it came out of the headset mode

Hey RyzBerry, maybe if you read my post to begin with and noticed that I said that I tried those solutions first you wouldn't feel the need to attack me...

I tried plugging/unplugging the RIM headphones, using a q-tip, a pen, and a screwdriver, but I could not get it unstuck.
Thanks everyone else... I might just try to get another storm and see if that works.

I has a similar issue where .75 was ok and the higher versions had problems with the phone audio. I wiped the OS and reloaded the higher OS. All is well now.
