Default new 484 3G patch killed lock?

So I just downloaded the new 3g patch for 484 and now my lock button and icon don't work.

    Anybody else experience this?

It replaces the "1XEV" with the "3G" and blackberry logo. It just changes the label, no functional change or anything

I had a brief experience with this problem. I did a battery pull and have not had a problem since.
If it ain't good enough, I'll work harder!

If I hold it slightly longer than just a click, it works but the lock button on the screen still doesn't which is weird.

I'm sure it's the same thing, but here's the one I used on .419 and it worked great! Just use BBSAK to drop the .cod file into your phone.

    driphter3G icon patch

Here's a screen shot of my 9530 on .419 with the patch. I use StormSlider, so I have no idea if the lock button is affected. I'd try it now for you, but my 9530 is currently in pieces waiting for a couple parts from Hong Kong so I can sell it...

That patch won't work for .484

There's no lock button delay issue for .484 and under

    With driphter 3G patch

Isn't this patch an unnecessary use of phone mem?
