you must have an app that is using the available app memory. What OS are you on? Have you done a battery pull yet?

shrink a os to remove some extra crap not needed like wallpapers and such is a big part of it

it doesnt matter how many apps you have sometimes, there installs can be big.

Yes, shrink os is a program used to remove items in your operating system before you load the operating system into your phone. I was having severe memory problem when I loaded .230 the first time. I'm not sure what happened but at times I was as low as 3 meg of memory.

I used the shrink os, loaded back up the .230 and now I have 48 meg of memory which has been steady for 4 days.

Once you reload the os (if you do), check and see how much memory you have. Then load one app, check the memory again over a day or two. Then the next app, then the next until you find out what applications have memory leaks.

Just out of curiosity, what apps are you running?

Tmp is right Jim. I use shrink-a-os prior to loading my operating system and what it does is allow you to select components to remove from the OS prior to the install. For example I usually remove all languages, games, docs to go, default movies and backgrounds, vz nav, all the chat programs, password keeper, ota update, setup wizard, etc. All together I can more than cut the size of the OS down more than half before it even touches my phone. I generally run around 45mb+ free on my phone memory as a result. You can find shrink-a-os by following the link in my signature to the downloads section. PM me if you need any more help with it.

not entirely. using shrink is a great idea to free up wasted space.
