Lost Verizon sim. Will Storm still work?

I have an unlocked Storm for at&t.

I am going to sell the phone and would be happier to sell it as its original Verizon carrier but do not have the original Verizon sim card that came in the back of it.

Was it just a dummy sim card or did that Verizon card actually do something for the phone?

You don't need a SIM card in the device at all to use it on Verizon.

The SIM card that was shipped with the device was for use internationally.
