I often (but not always) appreciate Civic's posts. But a mod who detests all things RIM/BB? Now that is strange!

I think she should bring back some of her older Avatars and then ban herself for it! LOL

I don't totally agree with this post, but it is kinda true... Civic is a very helpful member, but often very pessimistic about RIM, and extremely critical of all things BlackBerry... Its like Richard Simmons managing a Krispy Kreme...

Not a fitting analogy. I think someone who is very critical of RIM products is exactly who RIM should listen to. We are all always so proud of our own ideas that we fail to see the flaws.

Joe: If my post came off as "cynical" then I probably didn't clarify it enough, so I appreciate your response. She has been helpful (a lot) but there's no secret behind her general viewpoints on all things RIM. So, I was just struck by the irony of it all. And the Richard Simmons analogy is terrific!

Ha! Gotta love it. I no sooner post how much I liked the analogy than I get to your post stating the opposite. I don't disagree with your sentiment, and there's nothing wrong with being critical, in fact, it's essential. But, as I stated, I was struck with the irony.

I didn't take your post as being cynical I'm just rather shocked by the irony of it myself... Civic has been great to me on this forum, and her knowledge in most things BB is second to none, I just assumed over the past 3 months or so that she was done with all things BB, and was looking to make some aggressive move against big Mike... (I expected some news article about a small Honda car being smashed into a large building in Waterloo, something along those lines)
