Installed .148---->No phone

Wiped with JLCMD
Loaded .148 (no changes, left as came from VZW)

RESULT = No phone app

Green button does not work. Can't find phone app on BB either.

I've done this twice now.

I know this is probably a stupid answer but did you make absolutely sure "phone" was checked in app loader when you put the new os on? I noticed all sorts of things unchecked my last go around that I never unchecked so thought I would throw it out there.

Phone is always checked. Phone app shows as installed when I check the applications.

If you're restarted the phone a couple of times and it still doesn't work, then it's something with the load. Redo the load and make sure you're not messing around with any shrink tools on the OS. Also, some people (very few) have reported issues with their buttons at the bottom working after upgrading to .148. Not saying this is the case for you, but look into that as well.

I could never get the .148 working, so I went back to the .148/5.0 hybrid I had.

All is fine now. Leads me to believe there was something really wrong in that 148 download from VZW.

Well then use the link on here for the leaked version but I doubt very seriously that the version posted on Verizon's Smith Micro site is corrupt. I would bet there was a problem with your download or more probably with loading the OS on your phone.
