how to install 5.0.230 over 4.7.0.151 on Storm
Hey guys,
I downloaded 9530_AMEA_pbr5.0.0.230_rel355 and want to upgrade from 4.7.0.151?
Thanks! - 10-19-2009, 12:26 PM #2 Do it the same way you installed .151. Just make sure that the download you have doesn't have Quincy Tools with it. If it does you will see it in your Control Panel/Delete Programs. Just delete it.

If that is the FULL .230 then you shouldnt have to install over anything. Simply run the .exe and a screen like this should show up
If it does, then its a legit RIM original OS and you simply hit next until the OS installs. Check out this thread for instructions on how to upgrade your OS

ok, install on the PC, the install using loader.exe like any other leak.
