You must go back to a 4.7 firmware OS, that is the only way.

lol, this is awesome. First people ask for Flick Scrolling and Threaded SMS, then RIM provides, then people don't want it because "it's buggy". lol

I use the .ipd file to install the Flick Scrolling, but after a wipe, a installation of 4.7.0.122, I reinstall 5.0.0.238 and the problem still there.

Quote:
This happens to me only in calendar, and for the first couple of swipes. If I open the calendar and want to advance a couple of days, it usually jumps back a week, then another week on the second swipe (yes, while i swipe up). Usually by the third or fourth swipe it is back in line, then I hit the today button, and all is good.
gdoggmil04 : How that can be a user error ?

JRSCCivic98 : who want a buggy application ? when you go several times a day in your calendar, it's tiring when it returns always 1 or 2 weeks before instead of later

I'm alone with this problem ?

I don't like the flick scrolling myself, nor the threaded SMS. I never asked for them. I think they should make it an option, and allow the user to control if they want them or not. I can't stand the new threaded BB messenger and SMS style. I'd prefer individual SMS messages, with history, as we saw in 4.7

Are u kidding me? Before the official 5.0 release everybody running leaked 5.0 were all like threaded sms, flick scrolling whoooo!!!! Now that's it official we get people complaining about. I too am not completely satisfied with this build but it beats all the others. Sure we expected way more. Just be happy.. RIM is slowly getting there. And remember. Its a blackberry not an iPhone and the Storm is RIMS first touchscreen device. if u want a "cool" touchscreen get a different device. If u want a more productive BB get a Tour or Bold..

To a point I agree with this. Why can't RIM give you an option to enable the flick scrolling or not? It can't be that hard, but then again why can't RIM make an OS without bugs? Don't they beta test this stuff? If so, then why do they release it with the bugs?

I personally like the new features. Sure its still buggy, but its way better than 4.7.
Should RIM make it use choosable? Sure.... But for now let's all enjoy the new OS....or just go back to the old one.

You guys are amazing.

All I can say is Flick Scrolling is great now. Got a problem with it? I say user error.

It may take a bit getting use to but it's not "buggy." You want to see buggy install a copy of .230 OS. That is what I call buggy.

How can you hate threaded SMS? I like my phone to be organized and that feature does just that.
