I think you can try starting in safe mode by hold down the back arrow key as soon as the red light starts blinking - but you have to hold it for awhile. you can try that or I am sure someone else will have a better answer soon.

someone who i can ask directly, cause when i hold on to the back arrow key when the red light comes on it cannot press because the phone is not yet turned on. - 03-16-2010, 09:20 AM #6
Do you back up your data? Will the computer recognize your phone?

Well, my suggestion is to just wipe the phone and reload the OS. Not a big deal if you back up your data - if you don't it will all be deleted. You Desktop Manager is recognizing your phone though right??? (it shows your pin as connected?)

That will fix the problem. Just wipe the phone. I will send you the link to the verizon link for the official .328 OS. You know how to wipe the phone?

how much data will you lose? If you backed up in the last week or so it wont be that bad.

I sent the links above. I am no expert and I am suprised no one else has offered advise. Probably not the phone itself, but the OS. If battery pulls dont help, the only thing I myself would do is wipe the OS and reload. You never said if you back up your data. If you do you can put it all back. If you dont you may want to call VZW if you dont want to lose all that stuff.

Start desktop manager. With phone on plug it in.
