Default help! tried to upgrade to .148...

    hello,
i tried to upgrade OTA to the official .148 but it took almost all day at work (about 4 hours) and only reached about 60%. so when i got home i plugged in to my DM and did the upgrade through there. however, every time i try to upgrade i get an error message: "a fatal error has occurred please try again later"... after 3 tries, my phone IS DEAD and now the LED is blinking 3 times at a time but i can't turn my phone on.

    heeeeeeeeeelp please!
    greatly appreciate it

Did your battery die during the OTA?

Same thing happened to me today. About 60% complete, got a fatal error message and my phone is dead. DM doesn't see my phone, so I can't restore it.

My phone will turn on, but goes to a generic BlackBerry Platform screen and give me an application error if I click on any of the options.

Ota takes awhile, longer than using the DM. Be patient

I was stuck at 94% for a long time. I was doing it OTA. What I did was paused the download, and did a battery pull. When your phone restarts you'll notice a new "download.." icon and you can start up right where you left off.

    Good luck!

Just be careful, if you forget to pause the download its probably going to brick your phone. Its easy enough to restore, but it can cause some pain
