help plz! 3BIG issues w unlocked bb storm for tmobile

hi. im sorry if this info will be found somewhere else but im just so fed up all together i cannot search anymore. so please if someone can tell me wtf is up w my phone i would realllllly appreciate it. i dont know what to do anymore. ive spoken to rim and tmobile @tleast 4 or 5 times w no progress. here's whats going on.
its an unlocked factory refurb bb storm 9530 w tmobile

(1) app world doesn't work. -- this is what ive mainly contacted rim for. ive done everything they asked so many times theres no point anymore. i have all the latest versions of everything, bbm-mms-sms-browser-emails everything works except appworl. the message that pops up says there is a problem and appworld server isnt connecting. all the ppl @ rim had me download appworld from the desktop-the phone itself- like 3 times n it hasnt made a difference< so im hoping someone else knows something new i can try. n also there is no paypal email associated w the appworld account.

(2) when connected to the desktop the computer doesnt recognize that its there so i cannot use media sync to add or remove music-- in order to do this ive had to switch sim cards to other devices, do the media thing, n then have to go back switch devices ect....only when i try to use itunes media sync it doesn't let me. so i just had to use my other bb to get around it> (its not unlocked n from carrier) but i dont know why because when connected bb desktop manager reads the device n shows all the files on it.

n last but not least

(3) when connected to desktopcant use the internet modem option-- i can do it with my reg bb, but w the unlocked storm it doesn't work the same. it says something about having to use it like its roaming....which im not tryna do. cuz im sure they will charge me lol

now i imagine that somehow these are all due to 1 common problem, but im not as knowledgeable about my bb as i would like to be (or think i am lol) so i would really really love some help with these issues from someone who is A. patient w me cuz im not a genius haha. and B. knows what they r talking about. thank u guys hope to hear from someone.
