Help! Cant update device

I have come here for problems in the past without posting and found the answers i cant figure this one out.

Yesterday i placed my phone on the charger and when i picked it up it frooze up completly.. No clock or anyhing.. I did a battery pull and it wouldnt come on just the Red Led Lights. I charged the battery full over night but all i get is the black screen with the timer of death on it. I got the windows device manager and tried to update my phone and it gets about halfway and gets stuck at reconnecting to JVM. I am a complete newb in trying to update this. Please help!

Take it to the vzw store and if there are no signs of damage, they will replace it with a warranty phone assuming it's under 12 months since you got it
