Hi there! I seem to be having a problem to, I have a Blackberry Storm which is unlocked, I did already have the service books, I rang tmobile to set up dataplan and got some Blackberry services books (the name I cannot remember) that was until I broke my mobile, I now have a replacement mobile and need to get the service books back, but when I rang tmobile to request the service books I was told that they couldn't send me them as they do not support the Blackberry Storm, I know they support other blackberry devices, but the woman I spoke to just said she couldn't send them and I would have to ring Vodafone to get them....hmmmm I doubt they would help me lol.... so does anyone have any ideas as to how I can get the service books that I need in order to use the browser and receive emails...hoping someone can help...thanks

Editing a service book .... I am not sure how possible that is, I tried to do it some time ago but then read that they are in some for of RIM proprietary format and I could not find an editor for it. I think that if you really know what you are doing you might be able to do it with a hex editor, but I would not know where to start.

Luna, I have a unlocked Storm working on the Dutch T-mobile network, everything working fine.
If you have changed your phone you will have to log into the instant email (blackberry BIS server) for your provider and update/change the pin that is registered there to the new one of your new phone. Then resend the servicebooks.

I'm not sure about unlocked Storms or other carriers, but on Verizon we don't have to call someone to get our service books. Just log in to you BIS account and select "Send Service Books". I'm assuming that if T-Mobile supports BB, that they have a BIS website that you can register with. Unsupported Browser

I seriously doubt that you can edit the service books though.

yea i work tech for ATT and im sure Tmo is the same just log into your BIS account and resend, but if you dont just call tech, always ask straight for tech cause customer service dont know **** and will mess things up worst, keep trying you will get someone that will do it sooner or later, i always do...
