Dropped Call Alert

Does anyone know how to turn this deafening sound off in my Storm 2?!?!!! I have looked and even called RIM and they said they did not have a way to turn this noisy thing off.
Every-time I drop a tower I get my head blown off by this thing!
I have tried adjusting my tone from high treble to low bass to midrange and still no dice.
I called Verizon and they know of nothing I can do and sadly I asked them to send me a Droid X but I really like BlackBerries but this deafening sound makes me wanna find a lawyer and sue RIM till the cows come home.
I see the Storm 3 is due to come out and I can transfer my stuff right over to it if I tell VZ to cancel the Droid order but this noise gotta go before I can do that. I can't take it anymore!!!
