David Pogue Interview New Official OS coming

i stumbled upon this video of a david pogue interview at Macworld, i apologize if this is a repost, i don't think it is but. David pogue goes on about how the storm is crap, and then verizon/rim asked him to re-review it and he said yes, and then they said no, maybe at the end of january/feb. so we definatly have a new official OS on its way, whether it be .85 or even something newer.

Looks like I wasted a few minutes of my time. Not that the video wasn't entertaining, just that this guy is.....too excited about macworld and that's all I could get from that

Was he aware of the Iphone's problems on launch?

What the heck does he mean the phone doesn't work? Anyway RIM, do your best and show him who's boss for his next review of the device.

i myself owned a 3g iphone.

The browser crashed about 5-7 times a week.

It had numerious updates and it was an ok phone. I was bored by it in about a month.

To all the apple fanboys that try to tell you that iphones are better than winmo phones and rim phones because they dont crash.. They are lying.

Yea, there are a number of issues currently, but the Iphone's launch problems are being greatly ignored.

Still, that comes with the territory. If you improve enough, people forget how you started out.

obviously there is an update coming soon, but the fact that verizon/rim want to give david pogue a very popular journalist what may be a big stepping stone for the storm is an exciting thing. Even though we have .85 out already, its a leaked version and there are probably tweaks still being made to the phone and we might even get better releases. so who knows.

haha that guy is such a tool. but i gotta admit... the storm is flawed. .65 was a joke .75 is better, and .85 has too many glitches to be an official update. That said, the progression has been promising as each one has made it better overall.

David P. is absolutley RIGHT! This phone is crap with it's present OS and EVERYONE here knows it. If you don't you really need to go read the OS sub-forum and see ow many people are tryin got figure out ways to make thier phones work better. Also, everyone here would have to agree that the Storm shold not have been released when it was.
