dailing from dial pad
Is there an app that will allow users to dail from dial pad when entering the first few letters or #'s associated with that contact instead of having to open address book, keyboard then type? My old Treo used to do it...

Not that I know of.
Although I liked that functionality on my Treo, you'll get a better response if you post in the 3rd party apps section. 3rd party developers tend to check that section more.
