Cant Retrieve Backup File From Computer To D.M.

Ok Guys ... I have searched posts for a week trying to find answer .
Heres the deal Verizon store updated my O.S. to 328 . No problems on 4.7 just thought it was time ...Tons of trouble ! Went back ,they did their magic and had even more trouble. Decided to try it myself, backed up every thing ,went back to 4.7 .. got camera message ....extremely slow .. phone got very hot ..but everything was there , contacts etc. WenT back to 328 with no problem ,but now I cant Restore my contact list... I see the file on the computer ,but cannot get d.m to pull it in , you can see it plain as day on hard drive but the file browser in d.m. dosent see it . Any Suggestions .. had over 200 contacts Thanks !!!
