Default Cant find vendor file

I am on verizon and am attempting to shrink and install 5.0.0.419 exe on my storm 9530. I followed the how-to-shrink-as-os guide step by step and cannot find the vendor file. I know i have to delete it in order to install because it is an os released by another provider. I have installed previous leakes and have had no trouble locating and deleting the vendor file before. When i install the file to my pc i am istalling to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files. When i get to the step to delete the vendor file under C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader Folder, it is not there to delete. I have removed any previous os from my pc before downloading .419. I dont want to download to my phone without deleting the vendor file. Dont know if i am missing something, but any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I have never read the guide so I'm not sure why that step is included. If you watch closely during the shrink process, you will see a quick note in the bottom left corner that the vendor file is being deleted. Good luck with .419! It is better for the most part...

If you're on Vista 64, there's also a directory called Common Files (x86) that contains the RIM/Apploader/Vendor.xml file.
