Default Can't break endless reboot cycle after wipe

Ok, so in trying to downgrade from the hybrid beta I was using to .328, the apploader ran into the issue where it could not reconnect to the device during the "reconnect to jvm" stage of the installation, resulting in a quit of the loader without a successful OS installation. I've tried the nuked blackberry steps, and the /nojvm steps and even tried them together, but I still can't get the reboot cycle to quit. I've read that you can avoid this with a windows XP machine, but I have absolutely no access to such a machine and I'm using windows 7. How can I break this cycle? Thanks.

EDIT: Before anyone says I can avoid this by going with a newer OS, the OS I install on this phone needs to be a Verizon supported one, so nothing newer than .328 is going to be acceptable.

Did you run the program as an administrator? If possible try a different PC doesn't have to be XP. I had an issue where everytime I plugged my phone in with usb to my laptop it would endless restart until I unplugged it. I loaded loader.exe and manage to catch the phone as soon as I saw the pin. On my girlfriends laptop I could plug the phone in no problem, I just didn't want to download DM and the os again. Also you could try catching it through bbsak and wiping the device to get the 504 load os error or whatever.

I had the same problem. Finally removed Desktop Manager and re-installed (which reinstalls Apploader). Was then able to use the nuked instructions and reload the OS. You might give it a try!

No dice
Reinstall Desktop Manager did get me to where it hung on Unknown for a moment like its supposed to, but it still ended up in the cycle. I haven't been able to try another computer because I have no more to try . I finally gave up and reinstalled the hybrid I was working with before and it worked perfectly, so I guess I'm just SOL for the moment, at least until I can get my hands on another computer.

Plug it in with no battery, click next with unknown pin, choose what programs you want and then pop in the battery once it starts to initialize.

.328 has a problem with W7. See my post in this forum regarding titled 328 odyssey. Downgrade. My wife is running 230 and she syncs fine with W7.

I"ve had similar situation with endless reboot. The only way I found to work for me to force OS update through ( I tried the bricked 101 method as well ) is to goto Blackberry's webpage and update online.
BlackBerry - Update your Device Software

it forced the OS through and finally unbricked my storm.
Hope this helps.
