if you look at the announced features for 5.0 its basically adding the storm features to the other handsets. with that in mind, it seems like for the storm it's probably just fixing the flaws they aren't able to with 4.7

This was reported to users of said devices months ago. The Latest Known Beta OS Builds thread is updated with 5.0 builds for all devices. Since there are already threads on this, this one is closed.
